Koni Heavy Track Raids
Updated: Aug 20, 2019
So this is the Koni Raid for the Isuzu D-Max and Holden Colorado #885395
This strut has about 1 in more of travel than the stock factory strut. "Long travel for lifted vehicles". Internal bump stop on compression and a hydro lockout on full extension. Adjustable rebound valving. Adjust must be done off the vehicle with spring removed.
I had two problems fitting these to my 2018 Chevy Colorado. First the top stud of the factory strut is only 10mm and second the bottom spring seat is around 4 inches.
To fit the factory top mount I drilled it out from 10mm to 12mm. For the bottom spring mount I used a 2.5in x 3in spring adaptor.
Next I upgraded the spring rate from 600lb to 700lb. and adjusted the rebound 180 degrees.
